• Introduction:
Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan (Bu Zhong Yi Qi Pian, QiViveTM, Central Chi Teapills, 补中益气丸) is a highly regarded ancient Chinese herbal formula comprising astragalus and ginseng. Today, it is widely used to replenish Qi of the body and to promote physical strength. In traditional Chinese medicine, Qi is the principle of vital energy. A diminished Qi can be shown as fatigue, tiredness, shortness of breath, prolapse of rectum etc. Qi weakness can occur with age, stress, overwork and chronic illnesses etc.

*Bu Zhong Yi Qi WanTM is made of 100% pure authentic Chinese herbs of highest qualities. Traditional preparation procedures are combined with modern pharmaceutical processes to extract the active ingredients from the herbs and to further concentrate them into pills or tablets. It is produced in the certified GMP facilities of Shanghai TongHanChun Herbs Factory (Guang Ci Tang) or Lanzhou Foci Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. (Min Shan and Plum Flower) and is imported to USA in accordance with the FDA guidelines.

• Dosage:
Three top Chinese herbs brands:
Guang Ci Tang: 40 grams in 200 mg 200 tablets or 200 mg 200 pills per bottle,
Plum Flower: 36 grams in 180 mg 200 pills per bottle,
Min Shan: 33 grams in 160 mg 200 pills per bottle.
QiViveTM is an enhanced form of Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan. It is more concentrated and more potent. It reduces the daily dose and lasts twice as long. It is made in USA.
For Guang Ci Tang, 5 to 7 tablets or pills 2-3 times daily.
For Plum Flower, 8 pills 3 times daily,
For Min Shan, 8 pills 3 times daily.
As the herbal formula is a mild tonic and acts slowly, results may only be noticeable after 1 month. It is suggested to take 4-6 bottles in full dose as the first regimen. The dose may then be reduced.
• Use Discretion:
Both Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang and Si Jun Zi Tang are used for replenishing Qi. But Si Jun Zi Tang is more for Spleen Qi deficiency leading to digestive problems like poor appetite and pale face etc whereas Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang for Qi deficiency leading to fatigue and lack of physical strength etc.
